Palisade shooting range update
From KKCO
Grand Junction, Colo. (KKCO) - The town of Palisade may just be getting a new shooting range.
At Tuesday night’s board of trustees meeting an updated presentation was given to the board on the shooting range.
The board will share the presentation with the Department of Wildlife, who will then present the plan to Excel Energy. Excel Energy owns the land where the proposed range would be located. Palisade's Mayor says the range would benefit the entire valley "this is going to give them the opportunity to come out and shoot in a controlled environment . The town of Palisade is going to benefit the entire western slope and the Grand Valley will benefit. It’s going to benefit everybody in the valley," says Rodger Granat, Palisade Mayor.
